Members are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the annual meeting,
abstracts should be submitted by 5pm 24th March 2017
The call for abstracts & instructions, can be accessed here BIA will be awarding prizes to support attendance at overseas meetings or other educational activity for the best scientific (£1000 first prize, £500 second prize) and clinical case (£250) presentations

Careers in Infection for Juniors
An educational evening aimed at medical students and junior doctors interested in a career in Infection. Talks will include an overview of Combined Infection Training (CIT), including the merits of each sub-specialty, with advice on producing a successful application to CIT. Guidance on the diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene, along with suggestions for making the most of working abroad. There will also be a chance to present Infection cases with a national prize.
